Worship of a reindeer goddess is common among reindeer herding people, such as the Nenets of Mongolian. Maybe our Santa Claus was originally a female deity. 13″ x 9.75″

My friend took a magical walk one winter day in Massachusetts Berkshire Mountains. At one point the scene was bathed in blue light. Farther along, the area was all peach colored. The next area was imbued with a golden amber light. I chose to paint the blue winter scene for her. 16″ x 20″

This painting is a homage to my son’s coming of age; the version of him on the right when he was just out of high school; the version of him on the left from a photo taken at college.
